The air generator AG 2301 was developed to satisfy the need of pure and dry air of the laboratories, avoiding the use of gas cylinders. The main application for the AG is in gas chromatography.
The AG 2301 series is based on the PSA system (Pressure Swing Adsorption) the most efficient to reach such quality standard.
The generator can supply constantly up to 3 Nl/min of dried air @ 6 barg pressure.
The HC feature allows the hydrocarbons removal down to values lower than 0,1 ppm, thanks to a catalytic rector.
The TOC feature allows in addition to the HC removal also the removal of CO.
The model AG 2301 as well as all the CLAIND generators, is equipped with a high efficiency filtering system for in-coming air and , consequently, it does not require regular maintenance. The condensation formed during the drying process is vented automatically.
The generator AG series 2000 is provided with an electronic control device which allows to produce the needed quantity, by limiting the operation of the compressor which is placed in Stand-by condition when there is no consumption.
Working Principle:
The generator AG 2301 is based on the PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) principle. The pure air is generated by compressing ambient into a Carbon Sieve Bed (CMS).
Inside the CMS bed, moisture, and other ‘contaminants’ are trapped allowing purified air to pass through into a holding reservoir.
In the last stage, pure air passes through the catalytic reactor for HC removal.
